***Check out this fantastic World War 2 OPA Token and Stamp lot!!!*** You will receive a near complete collection of OPA Ration Stamps. There are 15 items total, which come from the 4 different books issued during WW2. Numbers/letters may change, but you will receive one of each of the following: Book 1 - NONE available (hard to find) Book 2 - NONE available (extremely hard to find!) Book 3 - 4 Military Vehicles Stamps (some redeemable for a pair of shoes) Book 3 - 1 hard-to-find Brown Stamp Book 4 - Blue (canned goods), Green (various), Coffee, Spare (various) Tokens - included in the lot are 2 OPA Tokens, 1 Red and 1 of the harder to find Blues. Letters will be chosen at random. Tokens are circulated and have some scuffs and discoloration. Also included: BONUS 1 - 2 unused S & H Green Stamps (these were given out in the 50s and 60s by supermarkets and could be redeemed for prizes) BONUS 2 - 4 rare French WW2 Ration Stamps for bread (I don't know much about these and have never seen them for sale on Ebay before. If you are interested in a full sheet check out my other listing!!!) The only stamps that are missing are the very rare Sugar stamp from book 4 (Almost all were redeemed at the time of issue), the stamps from book 1 and 2 which again are very hard to find, and the Red stamp from book 4. These stamps were used during WW2 in the U.S. along with payment for a variety of goods. Many foods/items were rationed including meats, canned goods, gasoline, coffee, and sugar. Stamps measure 1 inch x 1/2 inch. Will be shipped safely between layers of cardstock. A great piece of WWII history. An instant collection! This lot includes nearly all of the stamps and tokens that were originally issued. Almost 75 years old!!!
